YPG condemn Turkish drone attacks on Kobane

A statement was released today by Media Office of Peoples Protection Units, the YPG, on the Turkish occupation drone attacks on the city of Kobane earlier today that targeted a civilian house in the city center of Kobane and the second targeted a car on the Kobane –Aleppo road.

In the strike carried out on the city center patriotic man Ekrem Ostek from Shernakh was martyred.

The statement noted that Ekrem who spent 13 years in Turkish jails rendered unbearable sacrifices for the question of Kurds and Kurdistan all his life that he cherished for the cause of his people.

We condemn in the strongest possible words the savage attacks carried out by the Turkish state that target mostly civilians. This shows that the Turkish occupation state was defeated towards the struggle put up by the peoples of the region. Turkish state carries out inhumane attacks.

We call on our people and the international public opinion not to remain silent towards these inhumane  attacks.

The General Command of the Peoples Protection Units offer heartily condolences to the family of the martyr and to our people renewing our pledge to our martyrs to proceed on the way until victoey attained.''
