International dialogue forum "Afrin between the Turkish occupation and international interests" kick off

The forum will be attended by a member of the Democratic Islam Conference, Abdul Karim Sarukhan, the administrator of the Armenian Community Council in al-Hasakah Arief Narcis Kasabian, editor-in-chief of al-Hiwar magazine, Dr. Azad Ali, member of the Presidential Council of the Syrian Democratic Council Hussein Azzam, in addition to representatives of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of Afrin, representatives of the Kongra Star, Syrian Democratic Council, Afrin County Council, al-Shahba County Council, Yazidis Union and other civil institutions.

The forum will be held in the garden of Berxwedan Camp, in which a caricature of the head of the fascist Turkish state, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, was hung amid pools of blood and hills of human skulls who were killed by his army, and pictures of the massacres committed against the people of al-Shahba canton by his mercenaries, in addition to paintings drawn by Afrin artists as embodiment the difficult reality experienced by the indigenous people of Afrin.

The deputy co-chairmanship of the Afrin Canton Council, Mohammad Ramadan, delivers the opening speech of the forum, and then the Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, delivers a speech via the Zoom application.

And then opens the door for the first session entitled "Political Dimensions of the Occupation of Afrin".

The international forum revolves around the political dimensions of the occupation of Afrin, crimes and violations in accordance with international and humanitarian law, and possible strategic ways and measures to stop the violations and end the occupation.
