Hikmat Habib: Traitors won't prevent us from supporting advocates of freedom and dignity

The speech of Al-Habib, came during his participation in the Dignity March against the occupation and treason, which began this morning, in the city of Qamishlo.

At the beginning of his speech, Hikmat Habib linked the Turkish attacks on the legitimate defense areas, an North and East Syria, and said: "The conspiracy against the region by the Turkish state and traitors aims to undermine the democratic transformation

About the Iraqi government’s attacks on the Shingal district in cooperation with the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Turkish occupation, Habib said: “Shingal is exposed to the same danger and suffering that the Yazidis have been subjected to in history. There is a conspiracy to change the features of the region, from northern Iraq to Rojava".

Al-Habib also praised the resistance of the guerrillas against these attacks, by saying: "With this will and resistance, we will confront the aggression and defeat the traitors in the region."

Al-Habib held the government of Iraq responsible for what the people of Shingal are being exposed to, and urged it not to be drawn into this conspiracy, and said: "If they are talking about the sovereignty of the Iraqi state, they should condemn and fight the Turkish presence, where the military Turkish bases reached to more than 40 bases.

Hikmat Habib confirmed, at the end of his speech, that "traitors and conspirators against the democratic project will not deter us, they will not be able - by building a wall of shame - to prevent us from standing by the advocates of freedom and dignity (in reference to guerrilla), because the democratic nation's project is a project of all peoples.
