YBŞ: determined to defend land and gains

A statement released by the General Command of the Shingal Resistance Units, the YBŞ, on the recent attack carried out by the Turkish occupation army on Shingal and Yazidi people it said:

''the attacks of the Kadhimi led government are carried out under Turkish orders, and instigated by the Kurdistan Democratic Party  and at the hands of the commander of the Mosul Operations. That is Kadhimi government receives its orders directly from the murderous and occupying Turkish state and traitors such as the Kurdistan Democratic Party and carries out its demands. We confirm again that the Shingal question is not a military one rather it is a political one. 

Attempts to disarm Yazidis and put an end to their forces at a time Iraq witnesses a political and a social crisis opens the way to the 2014 scenario be re-enacted.

We confirm again that we demand problems be solved via dialogue and democratic and peaceful manners. We are not against the Iraqi army but we are against the liquidation policies and the use of Iraqi army in carry out agendas of some external powers. Therefore, we will defend ourselves against any forms of attacks whatever sacrifices made and we will exert whatever possible to protect the gains made and we will never give up.''
