A source from the Bulbul district reported that the mercenaries of the " Liwa al-Shammal " of the Turkish occupation cut down 75 perennial olive trees owned by Othman Khalil, from the village of Za'ara, belonging to the Balbula district in the occupied canton of Afrin.

According to the source, the mercenaries logged what had been cut down from the trees and collected them in warehouses in the district, with the aim of exporting them outside the canton and selling them.
