​​​​​​​American researcher: America considers giving Turkey more freedom of movement in ME

 As for the political aspect, most Middle Eastern countries have adopted a balanced position between Russia on the one hand and Ukraine and the West on the other, as the policy of regional neutrality indicates the desire of the countries of the region not to interfere in the Ukrainian crisis, as well as their desire not to see any party in the conflict.  American-Russian predominantly or defeated.

 "The Russian war in Ukraine has made the Middle East a side issue for the United States," Nicholas Heras, a senior researcher at the US New Lines Institute, said in an exclusive statement to our agencies.

 He explained that "the Biden administration is satisfied with the current situation in the Middle East in order to focus on the crisis in Europe and the Asia axis."

 Analysts believe that Washington, as a result of its preoccupation with files it considers to threaten its national security, represented by the rise of China and Russia, will entrust the task in shaping the Middle East to the countries of the region.

 In this context, Heras notes, "Regional powers, especially Israel and the United Arab Emirates, will play a proactive role in shaping the future of the Middle East."

 Regarding the role of regional powers such as Iran and Turkey, Heras expected that "Iran will seek to consolidate its power in the region."  Concluding his speech by stressing that Turkey would be the biggest beneficiary of the "war in Ukraine" because "the United States is considering giving Turkey more freedom to operate in the Middle East in order to maintain Turkish support against Russia."
