On Martyrs' Day.. Tabqa remembers martyrs of March and April

 Families of martyrs, members of political parties and a number of civil and military activities participated in the memorial ceremony, at the Martyrs' Shrine, west of Tabqa city.

 The ceremony began with a minute of silence, then the families of the martyrs lit candles in front of the pictures of their martyred sons, after which the administrator of the Martyrs’ Families Council in Tabqa, Abdul Hakim Al-Hussein, delivered a speech in which he said: “Today we remember the martyrs of the third and fourth month, and this anniversary coincided with the Martyrs’ Day,  This holiday deserves for us to be proud of our children who charted the way for us to reach salvation and freedom.”

 Abdul Hakim Al-Hussein pointed out, "We will remain in the era of the martyrs until all our lands are liberated. We congratulate the families of the martyrs on this holiday, in which their sons joined this list that there are no letters describing their sacrifices."

 For his part, the father of martyr Hani Al-Alais, Yasser Al-Alais, said, "We are still at the beginning of the path that our martyrs drew. The war is long and the battles are many. The Turkish occupation does not hide its ambitions for our land and the bounties of our country."

 "The battle taking place today is nothing but a continuation of the war against our peoples to thwart the democratic nation's project pioneered by the leader Abdullah Ocalan, who sacrificed his freedom in order for the peoples of the region to live in freedom and dignity," he added.

 At the end of his speech, Al-Alais affirmed, "We will always be on the first lines to defend the gains of our martyrs."

 At the end of the memorial ceremony, a television was shown that included pictures of the martyrs of the months of March and April, and introduced the dates and places of their martyrdom.
