Shaheen: we must deter Turkish attacks on Kurdistan with our strong will

Yesterday, the co-chair of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration in the Euphrates region, Mohammad Shaheen, joined a special program through ANHA’s agency, to talk about Turkey's escalation of its brutal attacks against the Kurdish people, and the targeting of Başûr Kurdistan and NE Syria.

Mohammad Shaheen, said at the beginning of his speech, "The Turkish occupation state has escalated its attacks on NE Syria, since the occupation of the cities of Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî, and despite the ceasefire agreement with Russia since 2019, it did not stop; rather, it moved to isolated and simultaneous attacks targeting populated areas.

Shaheen considered that the simultaneous attack on the villages of Kobani with the city center yesterday morning comes within the framework of the comprehensive attack plan of the Turkish occupation on the entire geography of Kurdistan, forcing the citizens to displace from their homes.

Regarding coordination with the active countries in the region, Mohammad Shaheen criticized their silence and cooperation with Turkey, in the campaign of genocide against the Kurdish people, and stressed that the Kurdish people are struggling to achieve democracy in the Middle East, so Turkey escalates its attacks against it, "Turkey wants to eliminate ideas and democratic projects in the Middle East.

Mohammad Shaheen touched on the continuous attacks on north and east Syria, and the simultaneous international silence, and said, "We have had an experience that the only and best way to obtain rights and achieve democracy and freedom is to rely on the people and take the struggle as a persistent approach."

The co-chair of the Executive Council in the Euphrates region touched on Başûr Kurdistan and said, "Despite Turkey's alliance with Kurdish forces in its war against the Kurdish people, we are sure that it will fail."

He called on the Kurdish people and the democratic forces in the world to unite and unite against the Turkish occupation and thwart the campaign of genocide launched by it, "We believe in the will of the peoples, and that we can thwart the plan of the Justice and Development Party, and what is required of the Kurdish people, with all its organizations, institutions, parties and military forces, is to unite in the face of the occupation and some groups that It pursues a wrong policy, calculated on the Kurdish people, and helps the occupation enslave our people."

He called on those collaborating with the occupation to stay away from their wrong policy of standing with it.

Regarding the continuous targeting of Kobani, Shaheen said that Turkey wants to take revenge on the symbolism of Kobani in the world, after it broke the thorns of ISIS and its supporters.
