Girê Spi District Council decries KDP’s betrayal

The statement, which was delivered in the square of the Girê Spi district council in Ain Issa district, was attended by the co-chair of the district municipality committee, Mohammad Darwish, dozens of members and institutions of Girê Spi district and Ain Issa district.

Where the Girê Spi district council denounced the practices and policies of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, led by the Barzani family, and its complicity and collusion with the Turkish occupation in its efforts to divide Kurdistan, and to fight the fighters of the Kurdistan Liberation Movement.

The statement pointed out that the KDP's betrayal and treachery made it a puppet of the occupying Turkish state, and in submission to the plans of the colonial countries with the aim of dividing the unity of the Kurdish people, citing the wall and its permission to build military bases for the Turkish occupier in Başûr (Southern Kurdistan).

In its statement, the Girê Spi district council warned of the consequences of building the wall as it seeks to divide historical Kurdistan and work to break the will of resistance and steadfastness shown by the Kurdish people against the regime of Hewler Government and the occupying Turkish state.

The Council indicated that the practices and betrayal of the Kurdistan Democratic Party bring to mind the agreements dividing Kurdistan on national and political bases in order to serve the interests of the colonial states and deprive their people of building their independent states.

The statement concluded by calling on the peoples of the region to carry out a revolution against the policies of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, which favor the occupying Turkish state and the schemes of the colonial states and their interests in the region.
