Internal Security Forces remove huge amount of ISIS IEDs in Raqqa

The Internal Security Forces removed a huge amount of explosive materials left by ISIS/Daesh mercenaries, in the countryside of Raqqa city, including old IEDs and missiles.

The official website of the Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria stated that their forces removed "the remnants of the terrorist organization ISIS in the countryside of Raqqa city", yesterday, Monday, April 11th.

He said: "After obtaining a report from our forces about the presence of strange objects in the village of Al-Dahla in the countryside of Raqqa, our forces rushed in coordination with the Demining Team and were present in the mentioned place, where members of our forces began imposing a security cordon and removing the citizens for their safety.

Demining Team also detected the suspicious objects, which turned out to be old missiles and explosive devices belonging to the terrorist organization ISIS. They were removed and transported without causing any significant damage or losses.

The Internal Security Forces called on citizens to report any strange or suspicious objects to the nearest center, "in order to preserve the safety of our people."
