Expanded Committee for Drafting of Social Contract holds first meeting in Al-Jazira

The Expanded Committee for Drafting of the Social Contract in NE,Syria held its first meeting with the Executive and Legislative Councils of AANES and the Social Justice Council in Al- Jazira Region to discuss the draft contract.

With participation of Representatives of the Executive, Legislative and Judicial Councils, as well as representatives of political parties, youth organizations, jurists, and members of civil and military institutions in the meeting, which was held in the Legislative Council Hall of the Democratic Autonomous Administration in Amuda district, Qamishlo canton.

The member of the Joint Presidency in the Democratic Union Party, Fawza Yousef said that “The expanded committee was formed of 158 representatives of political, social, and cultural organizations in general.

She added that "This committee was also made up of 50% of women as The completion of writing the draft social contract and presenting it to the councils and the people in general is an important step for north and east Syria.

Fawza Yousef concluded by saying "a The plan of action will be drawn up with the councils in the cities of NE, Syria to develop a program according to their internal situation in order to start holding public meetings with the people."
