AANES: Newroz is symbol of struggle that exposes injustice, oppression and denial

On Sunday, the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria issued a statement on the occasion of Newroz, which said:
"Newruz represents a real and historical revival of life towards achieving dignity and living freely, this day represented meanings embodied in the revolution of our people in north and east Syria, in terms of struggle, solidarity and unity despite all the challenges, plans and difficulties.
The statement added: "The principles of Newroz that adopt resistance are the same ones that strengthen unity and solidarity of peoples, and increase their strength to adhere of free societal will."
The statement stressed, "The Kurds continue today at the same pace and vigor with other components in maintaining this path of resistance and achieving unity despite diversity and differences through the project of the Democratic Nation and the brotherhood of peoples."
On the occasion of Newroz, we congratulate the whole of our people, especially the families of the martyrs, and to our displaced people from Afrin, Ras al-Ain (Sri Ganiyeh) and Tal Abyad (Gre Spi).
Today we need united efforts, starting from the principles of Newroz towards a free democratic Syria.
