ANHA' correspondent from Ghweran neighborhood: Clashes continue in southern side of Hasaka city

Clashes continue in southern side of Hasaka city, in conjunction with sweeps operation of Internal Security Forces, with the support of Syria Democratic Forces, in the vicinity of Al-Sina'a prison in Ghweran and Al-Zhour neighborhood, after ISIS mercenary cells launched an attack on the prison holding ISIS mercenaries.

The clashes between Internal Security Forces of north and east Syria with the support of SDF and the cells of ISIS mercenaries that attacked Al-Sina'a prison in Ghweran since Thursday evening did not stop and last night witnessed intermittent clashes, increased of intensity at times, and decreased at others times.

ANHA' correspondent from inside Ghweran neighborhood reported that clashes are continuing in vicinity of the prison, and that the clashes are taking place in the meantime on northern and southern sides, which contain government buildings.

The attack of ISIS cells began on Thursday evening, with the detonation of a car and a bicycle near the main door of the prison, following the outbreak of strong clashes with light weapons and RPG, between the security forces responsible for guarding the prison, and ISIS mercenaries cells after they infiltrated the prison from Al-Zhour neighborhood "Hosh al-Ba'ar" south of the city.
