Official in Yazidi House criticizes the actions of Iraqi army in Shingal

 Today, the Iraqi army again threatened the Asayish of Ezidkhan in the Shingal district, and demanded that they vacate a position for them in the Sinuni district, or else it will expel them by force. Despite all the appeals of the Shingal Autonomous Administration to the Iraqi army not to make provocations.

 In response to these tensions in Shingal, the administrator of the Yazidi House in the al-Jazeera region, and the joint vice-presidency of the Al-Hasakah Canton Council, Farouk Tuzo, spoke to our agency, and indicated that the Iraqi government's threats serve the agendas of foreign countries, especially the Turkish occupation.  .  He said, "Not for the benefit of the peoples of Shingal and Iraq."

 Tozo noted that Asayish of Ezidkhan protected the mountains of Shingal and its people, and they are the will of the people of Shingal, stressing that these tensions aimed at eliminating the Autonomous Administration in Shingal and the will of its peoples.

 At the end of his statement, Tozo appealed to the Iraqi government to stop these tensions in Shingal and respect the will of the Yazidi people, while calling on the peoples of Kurdistan in general, and the people of Shingal in particular, to stand against all conspiracies and schemes targeting their land, existence and free will, and to preserve their legitimate rights and support their administration and forces.
