PKK: Kurdish people not to leave perpaturers of Paris massacre unaccountable

 The leadership committee of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) issued a statement, reported by the Furat News Agency, regarding the ninth anniversary of the Paris massacre, which said:

 "Nine years ago, three Kurdish female revolutionaries were assassinated, Sakine Cansiz (Sarah), Fidan Dogan (Rojbin) and Layla Sheilmes (Ronahi) in the French capital, Paris.

 This massacre was committed on the order of the fascist and murderous Turkish state's member of the Turkish intelligence, Omer Günay  who gave the order to commit this massacre. The Turkish intelligence alone cannot carry out such a massacre, which would put it in charge and leave the government led by Erdogan face crimes head-on. Of course, months before that, he had announced the names of 22 leaders of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) to be liquidated.

 And because the Turkish state views the leader Ocalan and the PKK as the biggest enemy, it attacks the founders of the PKK. The assassination of comrade Sarah is to take revenge on the freedom struggle of the Kurdish people. This crime shows the extent of the hostility to the Kurdish people, and it seeks to exterminate the Kurdish people.

  Comrade Sarah, as one of the founders of the Kurdistan Workers' Party and a member of the Free Women's Movement was targeted due to her position and her resistance in prisons.

 This character appeared to comrade Sarah in the resistance of the fifth prison in Amed with all its characteristics. The resistance of comrade Sarah gave courage to all her companions in the dormitory, at the same time it was a source of great morale for all the resistance in prisons against severe oppression and torture. She did not retreat even a millimeter from her will and her position.  Any kind of repression and torture can undermine this position, pressure and injustice became a reason to show her position, which spat in the face of the enemy.”

 The statement continued, "Comrade Sarah joined this struggle because she fought for freedom until the last moment of her life.  Comrade Sarah was excited at every moment by the strength of the struggle for women's freedom. The memory of comrade Sarah will always remain in the struggle for the freedom of the Kurdish people and women, and as one of the symbolic figures of this struggle will take her place among the immortals.

 The statement added: "She was forced to emigrate to Europe and she had a role in identifying the freedom struggle of the Kurdish people."  And the development of the struggle for the freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan, her place is still vacant.

 As for comrade Ronahi, she was one of our young female companions. She contained the pain and heartbreak of the Kurdish people like Ali Cicek. She always tried to be in the front lines of the struggle to guarantee the rights, existence and freedom of the Kurdish people, and in order to be worthy of the red star of the Kurdish people, Ali Cicek, she  With great struggle.

 The Paris massacre is an issue for women all over the world

 The statement indicated, "Although the comrades Sarah, Fidan and Ronahi were assassinated in the French capital, Paris, the French judicial system did not prosecute the Turkish state and those who ordered this massacre, but rather placed justice on one side for its economic and political interests. The state that puts justice on one side is a state."  Weak in terms of values ​​and morals, and France will remain a morally fragile country until the perpetrators of the massacre are brought to justice. Government institutions in France put justice on one side when it comes to their economic interests, but we look forward to the people and democratic forces in France to show their position and support for this cause by presenting the perpetrators  To justice, the issue of the Paris massacre is not only the issue of the Kurdish and French democrats, but it is the issue of all women in the world. With this belief, we look forward to the women of the world supporting this cause and continuing the struggle to bring the perpetrators to justice.

 The statement stressed, "The Kurdish people will not leave those responsible for this massacre and those who ordered it and will respond to this massacre by liberating Kurdistan and democratizing Turkey, and prosecuting the killers will undoubtedly be the primary task of the Kurdish people and women."

 We remember with dignity the three comrades who were martyred in Paris on the 9th of January, and we pledge once again that we will respond to their aspirations by escalating the pace of the struggle.

 We also remember the comrades Robar, Khalil and Murad who were martyred in the aerial bombardment of the Turkish occupation state on January 6, 2017, with appreciation and respect, and the flag of their struggle will remain raised throughout Kurdistan today.

 We also remember with honor and respect the strugglers of the resistance of the Autonomous Administration who were martyred in January, Sefi Demir, Bakiza Nayer and Fatima Uyar, and we reiterate our pledge to continue the struggle for freedom and achieve their hopes in building a free Kurdistan, Turkey and a democratic Middle East.
