​​​​​​​Leader Ocalan's lawyers are reviewing Anti-Violence Committee and demand for visiting Imrali immediately

Al-A'asr Office submitted a request to the Constitutional Court on December 24, 2021, in which it stated: "To end the harm caused by violating Article 17 of the Constitution, the necessary measures must be taken in accordance with Article 73 of internal system, and to allow lawyers and families to visit detainees."

On December 24, the lawyers also submitted a complaint to the Judges' Council and Prosecutors, against the concerned prosecutors and judges, claiming that they illegally abused their positions.

According to Mesopotamya, the lawyers reviewed the Anti-Torture Committee of Europe Council and described what is happining in Imrali prison as "torture and ill-treatment."

The following are the requests that lawyers submitted to Anti-Torture Committee:

Your committee must visit Imrali Island. -

lawyers Visits must be allowed immediately, and visits should be permanent.-

-Ensuring the regular visits of the families, and ending disciplinary penalties that is against the laws.

-In addition to guaranteeing the right of visits, the right to make regular phone calls must be guaranteed.

-Removing the obstacles that prevent sending letters and faxes.

Ending illegal practices related to newspapers, magazines and books.-

-Take the necessary measures to reduce torture, ill-treatment and inhumane practices.
