SDF reveal end development of bombing and clashes on Zarghan, Tal Tamr

The Press Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces revealed the aftermath of the bombing of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries and the clashes in Zarghan and Tal Tamr during the past days, and confirmed that 4 civilians were killed, 14 wounded, and 3 mercenaries were killed.

This came through a statement issued by the media center of the Syrian Democratic Forces, in which it revealed the outcome of the bombing and clashes that have been exposed to the town of Zarkan and Tal Tamr district during the past few days at the hands of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, and said in the statement:

On December 21, in conjunction with the artillery bombardment of the Turkish occupation, the mercenary groups affiliated with Turkey launched several ground attacks targeting a number of villages in Tal Tamr, where the fighters of the Tal Tamr Military Council foiled all those attacks.

After that, the occupation carried out heavy artillery and tank shelling targeting the town of Zarkan and its villages, as well as the villages of the town of Tal Tamr. The shelling included the villages of Ain al-Hawa, Rabi’at, Asadiya, Hamra, Aziziyah, Umm al-Kif, Um Ashbah, Daoudia, Tal Shanan, Tawila, Tal Tawil, and Tal Al-Ward, Bouba, Khidraoui, and Bassis Al-Fawqani. As a result of the Turkish bombardment, on December 21 and 22, four civilians were killed and 14 others were wounded, and 3 soldiers of the Syrian regime were wounded.

On December 22, at nine o'clock in the morning, our forces countered the attempts of the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation to run into the vicinity of Umm al-Kif village "north of Tal Tamr", where violent clashes erupted during which 3 of the mercenaries were killed.

Simultaneously, the Ministry of Defense of the Turkish occupation state claimed that on December 21, 10 of our fighters were martyred, and on December 22, two others were martyred. Through these allegations and lies, the Turkish occupation state is trying to falsify the facts and show the civilians who were martyred and injured as a result of the Turkish bombing as fighters. Thus, it is trying to deceive public opinion and justify its attacks, but it has become clear that the party that is violating international understandings and laws of war is the Turkish army and its mercenaries.
