HPG: 7 Turkish soldiers killed in Haftanin

The People's Defense Forces (HPG) announced that they managed to kill eliminate 7 Turkish soldiers, while confirming that their fighters destroyed two positions in Heftanin, during the operations which carried out to commemorate the founding of the Kurdistan Workers Party and as part of the revolutionary Khabur resistance campaign.

HPG's Media Center issued a statement regarding the operations in Sarhad and Heftanin, which reads: “In order to commemorate the founding of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party on the 27th of November, our forces carried out operations in Eyalat Sarhad using modern guerrilla tactics, and according to the information we obtained these operations were carried out as the following:

On the first of December, the Turkish occupation army, through its secret units, carried out an occupation operation in Demirkapi Square in the Kalidag area in the state of Ağrı, where our forces monitored and surrounded a secret unit. , which resulted in the killing of a Turkish soldier.

On the twenty-fifth of November, our forces surrounded a Turkish secret unit in the Kildag area of Ağrı state. On the same day, at 09:30, targeted two occupation sites across two wings in a coordinated manner. Our unit raided these sites with a lightning attack, which lasted for ten minutes. During which at least two soldiers of the occupation were killed, while the rest of the soldiers fled the site.

Our fighters, who carried out this operation returned to their positions without losses.

On the seventeenth of December, at 12:30 in the hills of Bir Bala Square, our forces in the Free Women's Units - Star targeted a Turkish site which resulted in destruction of the site and killing of a Turkish soldier .

On the nineteenth of December, at 09:30, a site of the Turkish occupation soldiers was targeted again in Kordeneh Hill in Bir Bala Square, where at least four Turkish soldiers were killed and completely destroying the site.

On the 16th of December, at 19:45, Turkish warplanes bombed with warplanes Kafia Square in the Gari region.

On the sixth, seventeenth and eighteenth of December, Turkish fighters bombard area of Zab, Tel Shahin, Karkar, Jaya Rash, Martyr Rustam, Jamjo and Konishka.

- On the nineteenth of December, at 17:45, Turkish jets targeted Shektta Brindara, in the Zab region.All these attacks by the Turkish occupation army, our forces did not receive any losses.
