Within 12 days- the sixth detainee martyred in Turkish prisons under mysterious circumstances

The Turkish fascist state continues to kill political detainees, where another detainee sentenced to life imprisonment was martyred in Turkish prisons, yesterday, Sunday, in mysterious circumstances.

The detainee, Wadat Arkamen, was detained in Tekirdag Prison, Model (F), spending a life sentence of 374 years.

About 21:00 yesterday evening, the prison administration informed Arkman's family that he had "suicided" in his cell, claiming that they tried to take him to the hospital, but he lost his life on the way.

In turn, the family of Arkamen and his lawyer went from Istanbul to Tekirdag.

For its part, the Federation of Support Societies and Legal Societies for Families of Prisoners and Convicts (MED TUHAD-FED) issued a statement on its website, which reads:

"We have received another heartbreaking news; The prisoner Wadat Arman lost his life in Tekirdag prison, Model (F), we do not accept these tragic successive pains that occur abnormally, we demand those concerned, to act responsibly, we will follow up on this case and we offer our deepest condolences to the family of the deceased Arman".

Wadat Arman is the sixth detainee who was martyred in Turkish prisons this month. Before him, the detainee, Ghariba Jezar, was also martyred in Kocaeli Kandera Prison, Model (F), on the 9th of December. - Detainee Abdul Razzaq Soyor was martyred in Shakran Prison, Model (T) on December 14th.

Detainee Khalil Güneş was martyred in Amed Maximum Protection Prison on December 15th.

- Salih Turgul, who was paralyzed in the closed prison of Sirte, Model (E), as a result of torture and released in 2014, was martyred in the hospital on December 15.

- Detainee Elias Demir was martyred in Bolo Closed Prison, Model (T), on December 17th.
