On Thursday morning, PDK forces closed the Faysh Khabur crossing opposite the Semalka crossing in Rojava with large concrete panels.

The Semalka crossing revealed that PDK officials closed the Faysh Khabur crossing without being notified of the closure.

The Kurdistan Democratic Party had closed the Faysh Khabur border crossing several times previously and had imposed a blockade on the people of Rojava.

The PDK was also reported to have stopped all actions and movements at the crossing.

The Kurdistan Democratic Party (PDK) has not responded to the demand made by the martyrs' families since 73 days ago that a sit-in in Semalka crossing be held in order to hand over the martyrs' bodies. The crossing was closed during the morning hours.
