​​​​​​​Dibo: centenary of Lausanne closes, Kurds and Arabs must form alliances to thwart Turkey's colonial plans

 The Treaty of Lausanne of 1923 between Turkey, Britain and France, consisted of 143 articles, related to the organization of Turkey's new international status, arranging its relationship with the victorious allies in the war, drawing the political geography of modern Turkey and defining its borders with Greece and Bulgaria, and the final concession of the Turkish state to any claim  political, financial and any sovereign right in Levant, Iraq, Egypt, Sudan, Libya and Cyprus, as well as regulating the use of Turkish sea straits in times of war and peace.

 With the approaching date of the completion of the centenary of Lausanne, the Turkish occupation state began to expand the occupation area in the Middle East in Iraq, Syria, Libya and other Arab countries, not to mention the clear occupation in the Kurdistan region and areas in the northeast of Syria.

 The Turkish occupation state has intervened in Arab affairs since the outbreak of crises in the country, such as Yemen, Libya, Egypt, Tunisia, Syria and Iraq, in addition to Azerbaijan and Afghanistan, and they are nothing but messages that the Turkish occupation state is waiting for the completion of the centenary of Lausanne to return again and demand the return of the aforementioned areas to it as it considers them lands  Turkish.

 In this regard, our agency met a member of the Presidential Council of the Syrian Democratic Council, Sihanouk Dibo, who stressed that it is necessary to work to thwart the plans of the Turkish occupation state in the Middle East in general before the Lausanne centenary is completed.

 "Certainly, the conditions that led to these geographical maps have greatly prepared the will of the peoples of the region, and we are talking about the second Lausanne Agreement and the resulting imposition of certain identities and constitutions, the exclusion of components and the perpetration of massacres and genocide," Sihanouk Dibo said.

 Sihanouk Dibo affirmed, "Today, this agreement bears a great responsibility and what resulted from it in a large way, and the agreements that preceded it, such as the Cairo Conference in 1921, which is the main pavement for the Lausanne Agreement according to the maps and according to the structural crises we are dealing with."

 Turkey is implicated in many crimes

 Sihanouk Dibo pointed out, "What really concerns us, more than a decade ago, clearly and explicitly, and the preliminaries that preceded it in previous periods, we find that Erdogan's Turkey at this stage, which we can call the "black Turk", that is, a mixture of nationalist and religious, is practicing today a state of affairs.  High and advanced levels of genocide and occupation and committing more war crimes against the components of the region, led by the Kurds.

 Dibo added, "We see that Turkey is involved in Libya, and occupies all of western Libya today, is involved in fueling crises in the region, including the Renaissance Dam crisis between Ethiopia and Egypt. We are talking about Turkey's illegal military presence in Yemen and we are talking about a clear occupation of the Kurdistan region of Iraq from  Before the Turkish occupation state, and many areas in the north and east of Syria.

 Arab-Kurdish solidarity is a solution to thwart the schemes

 Dibo stressed, "This centennial is an important fact for Turkey, and the components of the region, led by the Kurds and Arabs, must take some practical steps, start alliances against this vision and thwart these expansionist plans."

 Dibo warned against the colonial expansions carried out by the Turkish occupation state in Arab countries in general, and in neighboring countries in particular, referring to the regions of northern and eastern Syria and areas in Iraq.

 At the conclusion of his speech, Dibo stated, "The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria has turned into the biggest failure of the past political projects that were against the components of the region in the neo-Ottoman front. The Autonomous Administration by virtue of geography and the field, this experience must be supported and the experience of the alliance between all components of the region."
