​​​​​​​AANES extends thanks to all forces, personalities that sided with World Day of Kobani Resistence

This came through a statement issued by the AANES on the occasion of the World Day of Solidarity with the Kobani Resistance, which falls on November 1, and said in its statement:

 “November 1 marks the World Day for Kobani, when conscience of all forces, events and personalities gathered around Kobani and showed solidarity with it, which confirms the importance of Kobani and its resistance.

 From this point of view, the liberation of Kobani is a historic slap in the face of ISIS mercenaries and their supporters. Kobani turned into a heroic epic that attracted the world that realized the reality of defending humanity and values ​​that belong to the whole world.

 The liberation of the areas occupied by Turkey, foremost of which are Afrin, Serêkaniyê (Ras al-Ain) and Girê Spî (Tal Abyad), is a necessity and importance parallel to the importance with which Kobani was liberated, as this is considered the beginning of the actual collapse of terrorism in Syria.

 The terrorist organization ISIS has turned into a great danger that threatens Syria, the region and the world as a whole during the period in which its power reached its peak after it took control of large parts of Syria and Iraq, and declared the city of Raqqa the capital of its alleged caliphate.

 The resistance in the north and east of Syria was not an ordinary resistance because it contributed to protecting Syria and the whole world from the threat of the terrorist organization ISIS.

 In the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, we are grateful to all the forces and personalities that have shown solidarity with this resistance, and have made clear to the world, through their solidarity, the brutality of ISIS, exposed its supporters, and affirmed the reality of Kobani's resistance against the most dangerous extremist and terrorist project in Syria.  On this occasion, we appeal to those forces and all the free people in the world with more determination and follow-up to preserve with us the gains made against ISIS and to prevent some parties, especially Turkey, from reproducing terrorism in Syria and the region.

 We also salute all our people in north and east Syria and renew our pledge in the Autonomous Administration to move forward towards making the Kobani epic and all the heroic epics of our people a way towards achieving freedom, democracy and liberation of the occupied territories.
