The sit- in that was organized on 5 October at the Semalka Border Crossing is attended by hundreds of people from the Jazira Region as well families of martyrs.

The main demand is to handing over of martyrs bodies and condemning betrayal and complicity with the Turkish state from part of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, the PDK.

On 11 0cotber 26 Peace Mothers headed to the Faysh Khabur to demand handing over of bodies of martyrs but they were denied passage.

In the 28-29 night of August the last a group of seven guerrilla was ambushed by forces of the PDK in the Khelifan region in Southern Kurdistan as they were heading to Bahdinan resulted in martyrdom of five fighters, one escaped and the other likely to be captured, according to a statement released by Media Office of the Peoples' Defence Forces, the HPG.
