Umar Saleh: Yazidis in Shengal are resisting PDK's provocations

Head of the Yazidi Freedom and Democracy Party Umar Saleh said Yazidis are protecting themselves and resisting forces of the Kurdistan Democratic Party to enter to Shengal adding PDK receives orders from the Turkish state.

After a statement was issued by the Democratic Administration in Shengal declaring rejection of forces of PDK to get into Shengal people took to the streets to prevent forces to enter Shengal.

Head of the Yazidi Freedom and Democracy Party Umar Saleh said PDK receives orders from the Turkish state and seeks to complete what ISIS could not achieve.

Saleh said PDK seeks to put into action the Shengal Agreement in cooperation with the Turkish state to strike at the Democratic Administration in Shengal and subvert all gains made there all due to the Ezidxan resistance and Shengal Resistance Units as well all associations in the province of Shengal. all these are under the guise of elections and their candidate just to materialize on the ground the betrayal agreement of 9 October 2020.

Saleh said after they were left in 2014 by the PDK forces the people in Shengal would never allow their forces to access Shengal. '' we absolutely do not trust neither the Iraqi Federal government nor the Kurdistan Democratic Party, they aim merely to destroy gains made by people of Shengal''.

Saleh went on to say that ''after the 73 firman Yazidis took lessons after which they organized themselves based on the concept of self protection. They want to strike at the peace and stability in Shengal that was preserved by the people themselves. We used to protect ourselves, and we will go on''.

Umar Saleh indicated that PDK is weak so it knows very well that its candidate will not receive any popularity in Southern Kurdistan so it heads to Shengal to get popularity supported by a military force that provokes Yazidis''.

As our people stood up to ISIS in 2014 they ought today to stand up to PDK forces and hostile plots towards Shengal, they should not be given allowance to Shengal again. We ought to repel any provocations or hoetile practises made by PDK, '' the Kurdish people in the four parts of Kurdistan should revolt today against the betrayal policies adopted, we will not subjugate''.
