HPG discloses one of its fighters martyred by Turkish chemical attack

HPG Media Center revealed through a statement the identity of a Guerilla fighter who was martyred in Avaşîn area.

The statement reads:

 “Freedom fighters in Kurdistan showed historical resistance against the anti-human attacks of the Turkish occupation army and opened a new page in the history of people’s freedom, as the guerrilla forces dealt strong blows to the occupation army in each of the war tunnels and in the form of teams with modern war tactics in the Avaşîn area, and made it stand helpless in front of the strength, will, and spirit of sacrifice and redemption that our forces possess, the occupation army tried to reverse the situation by using anti-human methods and modern technologies, but this did not affect the determination of our forces, but rather increased their will, determination and struggle on the line of victory despite the limited opportunities they had. The Turkish occupation state once again by practicing dirty war methods and using chemical weapons and poison gas against our fighters.

According to the statement, the martyr was recorded as follows:

Name and surname: Furat Shaheen

Place of Birth: Gulmark

Mother's - Father's Name: Farman _ Karam

Place and date of martyrdom: Avaşîn / July 7, 2021

We offer deepest condolences to the family of our comrade Baz, one of our heroic martyrs, who became model in the resistance with his courage and sacrifices in the resistance for the freedom of Kurdistan. We also offer our condolences to the Kurdish people and renew our pledge to follow in their footsteps until we achieve victory for our people and for Kurdistan.”
