Turkish occupation shells on rural Manbij, MMC with more 211 missiles

Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries intensified their attacks on the northern and western countryside of Manbij during the past week, and used rockets, launchers, cannons, and mortars to bombard them, on villages inhabited by civilians.

The barbaric and indiscriminate bombardment caused material damage to civilian properties and homes, and damage to agricultural lands and olive trees, in addition to seriously wounding a woman in the village of Al-Masi, which led to a permanent disability in her foot.

211 shells were fired at villages inhabited by civilians

The spokesman for the Manbij Military Council, Shervan Darwish, said that the number of shells and missiles that were bombed on the villages during the past week amounted to more than 211 shells and missiles.

Since the liberation of Manbij from ISIS, the region has been subjected to Turkish attacks

Shervan Darwish pointed out that the bombing is not new, and continued, "Since the liberation of Manbij from ISIS terrorism, villages have been bombed and attacked by the Turkish occupation, and points for our fighters have also been targeted."

Derwish confirmed that civilians are exposed to dangers due to the bombing of their homes, and they are forced to flee from their villages as a result of the intensification of the bombing.

Criticizing the international silence towards Turkey's crimes, Derwish added that the international silence makes Turkey "escalate its attacks and transcend all norms and values ​​with its war on our people and our forces."

The official spokesman for the Manbij Military Council affirmed that defending their land and people against the attacks of the occupation and responding to them is a legitimate right for them. He said, "This is a right that is protected by all norms, religions and international laws."
