Turkey's gangs kidnap 5 of sheiks and clans' notables in Tal-Abyed

According to the source, the so-called Military Police of the Turkish occupation mercenaries raided yesterday the town of Al-Ali Baglia and kidnapped "Mohsen Khalil Khalaf Al-Hassan, Mustafa Hassan Khalaf Al-Hassan, Ismail Al-Sarhan Al-Khalaf, Sarhan Al-Ali Al-Salama, Ahmed Hussein Al-Samou."

The source indicated that these are the sheikhs and notables of the Albu Assaf clan, the majority of which resides in the Girê Spî canton and its countryside, and that Mohsen Khalil Khalaf Al-Hassan is the brother of the former Sheikh of the Albu Assaf clan, Sheikh Obaid Al-Hassan, who was assassinated by treachery in the summer of 2019.

The source noted that their kidnapping was malicious because they did not participate in the statement issued by a group of the same clan affiliated with one of the leaders of the mercenary factions called Abu Jihad.

Two days ago, a group of the Al-Bu Assaf clan issued a statement in the village of Umm Azam, which is close to the town of Al-Ali Baglia, in which it supported the mercenaries of the Turkish occupier, but all the clan's members, headed by its sheikhs and notables, rejected it.

According to the source, there is a state of the resentment among the clan members after their elders and notables were kidnapped by the mercenaries.
