ANHA agency documents what happens in Tal Tamr during August month

Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries began their military escalation in the countryside of Tal Tamer district at a high rate during the month of August, as they targeted the villages of the populated area from three axes on an almost daily basis, causing many casualties among civilians, and causing serious material damage to civilian property, in this regard ANHA agency prepared a detailed report on the attacks and events that took place in Tal-Tamr district during the month.

On the 2nd of August, the Turkish occupation began bombing the villages of Tal Tamr, initially targeting the village of Dardara, north of the district, at a distance of 4 km, located on the road to Zergan district to extend its shelling on three axis of Tal Tamr on daily basis, targeting of the southern axis of the district twice during the month, as it targeted the Assyrian villages of Tel Shemiran, and the village of Tel Hafyan, or the so-called al-Asfouriyah village, which is located on Hasakah road.

 During this escalation, the shelling focused intensely on the village of Dardara, located on the Zergan road in the northern part of the district, due to its strategic importance, as the village overlooks the M4 international road, in addition to its location between Tal Tamr and Zergan.

The villages of (Tel Shanan, Al-Abush, Sheikh Ali, Umm Al-Keif, Tal Juma'a, Tal Karrah Beit, Tal Tawil, Umm Al-Khair, Al-Kuzliya, Tal Al-Laban, Tel Shemiran, Tel Hafyan (Al-Asfouriya), the international road M4 connecting Between Tal Tamr and Zarkan), the occupation and its mercenaries targeted a wedding hall and a cement factory in the area.

While the shelling on the villages of Tal Tamr district is still continuing, but intermittently.

On August 19^th, the Turkish occupation, through UAVs, targeted the Tal Tamr Military Council Relations Center, causing the death of 4 fighters, including the leader, Sawsan Berhat.

Within the framework of legitimate defence, the forces of Tal Tamr Military Council, the Syriac Military Forces and the forces of the Assyrian Khabur Guard Council responded to all attacks by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, in their response to the sources of the Turkish bombardment, the forces of the three Councils were able to take a heavy toll on the occupation and its mercenaries in terms of human life and material.

Through statements by the Tal-Tamr Military Council and the Syrian Democratic Forces, announced that they would defend and respond at a high frequency to all violations and crimes committed by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries.

Injuries

As a result of the barbaric bombing of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries on the villages of Tel Tamer, including residential communities, 5 civilians, including children, were injured during the month.

Aisha Al-Hassan, 40, and her 4-year-old child, Hussein Salem, were injured near the Al-Salam wedding hall on the Tal Tamr-Qamishlo road on August 2.

On August 15, Maryam Hamdo Sheikh Saleh, in her thirties, was injured in the Assyrian village of Tel Shanan.

On the 23rd of the same month, the young woman (Amina Khader al-Faris), aged 21, and her relative (Khader Ibrahim al-Faris), in his thirties, were injured in the village of Dardara.

As a result of targeting Damascus government outposts, 4 casualties occurred among the ranks of these forces, in each of (the village of Tal Tawil, Tal Jum`a and Umm al-Keif).

Bombing damage

In all the villages that have been bombed by the occupation and its mercenaries, the attacks have caused considerable material damage. Our Agency has documented during its reports the destruction of dozens of houses, as well as the targeting of houses of worship by the occupation and its mercenaries. Not to mention the damage to infrastructure, vital installations such as high tension towers, power cuts from Tal Tamr city and its villages, and a power station north of the side were targeted.

The occupation also targeted the status of the Local Council of Qarjah Graves, located in the village of Dardara, and caused significant material damage to the targeting.

Guarantor forces and their position

During the military escalation in the Tal-Tamr district, during the month of August, Russian forces considered to be guarantor forces - remained silent and did not act in the face of attacks on the villages of the side. This caused public outrage and protests in front of their base in Hamra village on Ras al-Ain Road and Zergan north of the district.
