Sheikh Mohhmaed al-Suwan: Our region subject to international plots

Sheikh Mohammad Turki Al-Suwan affirmed the readiness of all the region’s clans and components of Arabs, Kurds and Syriacs to defend the region against attacks launched by the Turkish occupying state and mercenaries.

During the past few days, the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries intensified their brutal attacks against north and east Syria, during which they targeted civilians, including children and women, amid international silence.

Sheikh of Al-Sabkha clan, Mohammad Turki Al-Suwan, explained that the violations committed by Turkey and its mercenaries against the peoples of north and east Syria "are aimed at striking the the Autonomous Administration project and expanding its occupation at the expense of Syrian land."

Al-Suwan pointed to an international conspiracy against north and east Syria, "This bombing of our areas is an international conspiracy by any party, Russia, Turkey and the Syrian regime, and we say to Turkey that we do not want war, but we are ready to defend this land."

Sheikh of Al-Sabkha clan stressed that the SDF "represent all components of the region," adding, "We, the sons of clans and other components within our forces, will stand in the face of Turkish greed."

Regarding Russia's role, Al-Suwan said, "We cannot say that Russia is a guarantor, but rather consider it a Russian traitor and a conspirator against the Syrian people. They have a goal, which is to support the Syrian regime and work for the benefit of this regime that left this land 10 years ago for terrorism."

And about solidarity among the components of the region, Sheikh al-Suwan said, "We are in the north and east regions of one component, and there is no difference between the Arab, the Kurdish, and the Syriac, and our solidarity is important for the resistance." He added, "All components in the region are fully ready to defend their lands."

In conclusion, Al-Suwan affirmed that the peoples of north and east Syria have become "aware of these conspiracies that are being hatched against the Syrian people, and today every individual from our society is ready to sacrifice his soul in order to defend this land."
