"Women preferred to be set on fire" former Afrinian kidnapped tells horrific stories in Turkish occupation jails

 “I stagger wile walking and cannot carry anything,” this is how (W, C) described his condition after his release from the prisons of the Turkish occupation, where he stayed for nearly 3 years, tortured and insulted.

 The story of (W, C) preferred to speak on condition on not revealed, begins during the attacks of the Turkish occupation army on the city of Afrin in 2018, where he was living in one of the villages of Janders district, and as a result of the intensity of the battles and bombing of the occupying state, he only managed to get his family out, but he stayed and was hit by shrapnel.

He says that he did not realize what was going on, but he felt two people dragging him into a military car. At that moment, (W, C) was kidnapped by the mercenaries of the so-called Sultan Murad to be taken to one of the prisons in Turkey.

 A prison in Turkish territory contains hundreds of Syrian abductees

 (W, C) woke up on February 7, 2018, from a nightmare-like slumber to find himself lying in a room and wounded without being treated, and on his left side a man in his sixties is busy placing a piece of cloth over W, C's head, which contains 3 shrapnel on the left occipital side  from his head.

He continues, "I was not conscious, when I woke up, the inmates told me that I had been staying in the prison in Turkish territory, which contains dozens of civilians، 14 days ago."

 Accused of being a Kurd

 After a while, (W, C) was transferred to the notorious Al-Ra'i prison, run by the Turkish intelligence, and accused of dealing with the Autonomous Administration. When he denied this, the Turkish investigator replied that being a Kurd is enough to sentence him to life or even kill him.

(W, C) says, "In the investigation, everything is permissible. All kinds of torture are used."

 The source of malignant diseases

 He describes the condition of al-Ra'i prison as the worst ever. Where no service or windows are available."

All this about methods of systematic torture is sufficient to create an environment suitable for the reproduction of germs and viruses and the spread of communicable diseases such as tuberculosis, hepatitis and other diseases."

 (W, C) says that 40 of the abductees in the prison contracted tuberculosis, and not only were they separated from the rest, but the warders spread them to other cells to spread the infectious disease among the inmates, as was the case with hepatitis, as the two diseases claimed dozens of lives without providing any medical help for them, seven of them are cellmates of (C,F)

 'No food, no medicine'

 He added, "Not two days passed before one of the inmates died in my cell, either of tuberculosis, hepatitis, or even because of the infection of the wounds they were suffering as a result of torture and the lack of health facilities or even medicines."

 (W, C) continues to tell his story, stressing that the jailers of the mercenaries of "Sultan Murad" kept stealing their food and medicines, despite their scarcity, as three analgesic pills for headaches were given to 40 people on a weekly basis as pills to treat patients with infectious diseases.

As for food, (W, C) says that 10 bundles of bread were given to 100 people, of which the jailers stole half of the quantity, and left for them the half, and each inmate ate from it an amount that would almost keep him alive.

 Women would rather die by burning than live in that prison

 Turkish intelligence was using one of the dormitories of al-Ra'i prison to imprison women, and (and, c) say that they heard these women moaning as a result of the torture they were subjected to.

 However, one day they heard that the women’s dormitory had been burned down, and according to what was narrated by (and, c) two of the women refused the practices that affect them, so they set themselves on fire and preferred to die rather than continue to live in that prison.

 The price of the call is one thousand dollars, and the court is two thousand

 About a year after his kidnapping, W and C wanted to tell his family that he was alive and in Al-Ra'i prison, so he agreed with one of the warders, who stipulated the amount of one thousand US dollars to be paid by the family on the condition that he talk to her son, which is what happened.

 About 3 years after the kidnapping, the mercenaries (W, C) were transferred to the so-called "Central Court" to be charged with terrorism and dealing with the Autonomous Administration, and he was fined 3,200 Turkish liras, and forced to pay two thousand dollars to the defense lawyer to get him out of prison.

 Citizen (W, C) was released from Al-Ra’i prison on July 10 of this year, after paying about $3,500, kidnapped and imprisoned for more than 3 years, during which he was subjected to the most horrific forms of torture, turning him into a human being unable to lead a normal life, both psychologically and physically.
