Russian raids on rural Hama; Fourth Division shells Daraa

Russian warplanes carried out about 8 raids targeting the areas of Al-Sarmaniyah and Dower Al-Akrad in the western countryside of Hama, and this coincided with the bombing of missile launchers by the forces of the Damascus government targeting Al-Alia area in the western countryside of Idlib, without reports casualties, according to SOHR.

The observatory also monitored the fall of rocket shells on the vicinity of the dam road and the sea area in Daraa al-Balad, originating from the forces of the Fourth Division, which are mobilizing forces in the vicinity of Daraa al-Balad, amid a state of panic among the people for fear of invading the area.

Prior to the bombardment, "Fourth Division" forces carried out raid and search operation of some civilians' houses south and east of Daraa, where unknown gunmen fired on their checkpoints. The Fourth Division forces also positioned themselves at the outskirts of the dam road and Daraa after raiding houses and firing randomly at the surrounding farms in Daraa, where two civilians were injured. In the meantime, the region is experiencing tension, according to the SOHR.

The observatory indicated that the Fourth Division brought huge reinforcements on Sunday morning to Daraa from the capital, Damascus. Dozens of vehicles loaded with soldiers arrived to Daraa, and some of them headed to the city and the other part to the vicinity of Tafas and Muzayrib in the western countryside of Daraa.
