The KDP continues its complicity with the Turkish occupation state, as it recently sent special forces to the Jamjo area in the Medya, with the aim of besieging the guerrillas and forcing them into infighting.

The area is a strategic area where there have been no KDP forces for nearly three decades. However, the KDP has mobilized in the area linking Metina and Zagros, where the Turkish occupation army has launched brutal attacks against Guerilla for more than two months.

The KDP aims from this move to isolate the Guerilla regions and confine them to narrow and separate areas in the face of the Turkish occupation army.

In this context, Gharib Hasso told ANA agency, "The occupying Turkish state has been waging a war against our people for a long time in Başûr and Bakûr. Threats are still continuing against Rojava. There is a military and political war for exterminating our people. On the other hand, there is a great and historical resistance led by the the Peoples Defense Forces and the Free Women's Units - a star that deals strong blows to the occupiers."

'provocative move'

Hasso pointed to the role of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, "The party has played a role in this war for a long time, recently in Shiladze, Zina Warti, Heftanin, Gara and Jamjo. It drew attention with its movements in the areas witnessing resistance against the Turkish occupation. It does not meet the aspirations of the Kurdish people, because these moves will not bring positive results."

Hasso pointed out that "sending the forces is a provocative step, not an ethical one. This is one of the characteristics of the enemies,"  he stressed that this move "will open the way to a new infighting, which is a disaster.

The co-chair of the Democratic Society Movement reiterated that "the attacks aim to occupy Başûr and Kurdistan."

Weak positions against the occupation

Hesso criticized the positions of Kurdish political organizations and forces, and said, "They do not live up to the aspirations of the Kurdish people," noting that "the people clearly showed its position."

"In Rojava, northern and eastern Syria, the people condemn the occupation, but political positions can be stronger, because the parties and organizations know what internal Kurdish fighting means," Hasso said.

Regarding the position of the parties in Başûr, Hesso added, "issuing statements is not enough. Unfortunately, the political parties do not move, and in particular, the parties of Başûr can influence public opinion to draw attention to this war." Exerting pressure on the Turkish occupation state in international forums.

Hesso called on the Kurds, "We must have a unified position. This will affect public opinion," adding, "But if we do not, we will lose many achievements."
