Hamo: AA representatives, PYD members' abduction in Southern Kurdistan serves Turkey's policies to create strife

Member of the General Council of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) described the fact that the Kurdistan Democratic Party (PDK) authorities in Başûr Kurdistan (Southern Kurdistan) abducted the representative of the Autonomous Administration and members of the PYD Relations as serving Turkey's policies aimed at creating strife and fraternal fighting among Kurds. Moreover, he appealed for the immediate release of the detainees.

On June 10, the Kurdistan Democratic Party forces abducted Representative of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria in Hewlêr, Jihad Hassen, and two Members of the Democratic Union Party's Relations, Mustafa Khalil and Mustafa Aziz, while they were on their way to Erbil Airport to receive guests.

So far, the Kurdistan Democratic Party has not revealed any information about the abductees, and their fate is still anonymous.

In this regard, Badran Hamo, Member of the General Council of the Democratic Union Party in Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood of Aleppo spoke to ANHA.

"Turkey has occupational goals in Southern Kurdistan"

Badran Hamo said that the Kurdish people are going through a critical stage at the Kurdistan level. On the one hand, they are being exposed to the Turkish occupation state's attacks in Başûr Kurdistan (Southern Kurdistan), and on the other hand, a special war is being practiced against them by the Turkish state which targets the whole Kurdish people in an attempt to sow sedition and create Kurdish infighting.

Hamo stressed that the Turkish occupation aims through its attacks to exterminate the Kurdish people and strike the gains that the Kurdish people have achieved over the past years, and said: "The people must preserve and protect these historical gains."

Hamo indicated that the Turkish occupation state plays a malicious role towards the Kurdish people through its attempts to provoke Kurdish-Kurdish fighting, and said: "The abduction of representatives of the Autonomous Administration and members of the Democratic Union Party's Relations in Başûr by the forces of the Kurdistan Democratic Party is a service to Turkey's goals, and this is evidence that the Kurdistan Democratic Party acts under Turkish policies.

"Başûr (Southern Kurdistan) turned from a place of peace and freedom to a place of sedition and fraternal fighting"

Hamo explained during his speech that Başûr Kurdistan used to be a place of peace, freedom and democracy, but today Turkey has turned it into a place to create strife and fraternal fighting with the help of the Kurdistan Democratic Party.

"Every Kurd is targeted by Turkey"

Hamo also called on all Kurdish political forces and parties to hold a national Kurdish dialogue to resolve all their intellectual differences, and to unite to protect Kurdistan from the attacks of the Turkish occupation, and said: "In the personality of the Kurdistan Liberation Movement, Turkey targets all Kurds in Kurdistan."

At the end of his speech, Member of the General Council of the Democratic Union Party, Badran Hamo, saluted Başûr people's resistance in the face of Turkey's occupational policy.
