The members of Star Congress and the Free Women Council of al-Shahba gathered in Sardam camp in Ahadath district of al-Shahba canton.

The statement was read in Arabic by Najah Al-Hussein, a member of the Free Women's Council in Shahba, and in Kurdish by a member of the Democratic Training and Education Committee, Nazliya Oso, and the text of the statement read:

"The fascist Turkish state still pursues its dirty and brutal policy and commits massacres, assassinations and arrests against defenseless women and children with all brutality. Yesterday it was Hevrin, Sa'ada, Hind, Zahra, Heboun and Amina, as well as the Paris massacre that led to the martyrdom of comrade Sakina Cansiz and her companions, and this time the HDP office was targeted, even more brutally and murdered the martyr Deniz Poyraz.

For months, the HDP has been targeted by the ruling party and the Turkish Ministry of Interior, where some people are organized and sent to the party headquarters with the aim of closing the offices of the HDP and intimidating the people, in conjunction with the meeting of NATO in the hands of the dictatorial countries that were and still are participating in all the atrocities against all peoples struggling for freedom, peace and democracy.

The Turkish fascism is known to commit massacres in order to kill peace at the hands of the "terrorist gray wolves" that know nothing but murder, crime and terrorism.

We, the women of Afrin and al-Shahba of all components, condemn and denounce in the strongest and harshest terms these criminal terrorist acts committed by the terrorist state against female politicians in the region. We call on the international community and the United Nations to break their silence and exercise their role to stop the terrorist Turkish state, limit its attacks and stop their aggression against the struggling peoples who call for freedom and peace in all the peoples of the world.
