Russian forces conduct 49th patrol with Turkish occupation in ad-Darbasiyah

​​​​​​​Today, the Russian military police and the Turkish occupation forces conducted a new joint patrol in the western countryside of ad-Darbasiyah district center, amid a shortage of Russian armored vehicles.

The joint patrol was launched from border Bab Sherk, 13 km west of ad-Darbasiyah city center. The patrol consisted of 3 Russian armored vehicles and 4 Turkish armored vehicles, accompanied by two Russian helicopters.

They toured the western villages of ad-Darbasiyah; "Sherk, Delik, Berknis, Kairouan, Aliya, Dahr al-Arab" and returned on the same road.

The Turkish armored vehicles returned to Turkish territory, while the Russian armored vehicles headed to their base in Qamishlo city.

This is the 49th patrol since the signing of the Sochi Agreement between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on October 22, 2019.
