Women: Preservation of revolution gains is our priority 

Women and politicians from the cities of Raqqa and Manbij have made it clear that the practices of creating discord by hostile forces are to undermine the voice of the people and women, and to thwart the revolution. One of our priorities is to preserve our revolution and its gains to confront all forms of conflict and genocide.

Women of all components have achieved a great revolution in north and east Syria and demonstrated the will and determination to continue the path of struggle and resistance against all authoritarian and terrorist regimes over the 10 years of the Syrian crisis.

Member of the Presidential Body of the Syrian Democratic Council SDC, Ilham Omar, noted that these practices and recent sedition in several regions of north and east Syria are to undermine the voice of the people and women, and to thwart the revolution.

She continued: One of our priorities today is to preserve our revolution and the gains made by the sacrifices of our martyrs and to strengthen our organization in order to confront all forms of conflict, extermination and smelting, which are at the heart of capitalist modernity and seek to prolong its life, and to escalate the line of resistance against all that impede the struggle of women.

The Head of the Women's Body of North and East Syria, Jihan Khadro, said: "The efforts of women have contributed to raising awareness and claiming their rights within the institutions of the Autonomous Administration, from the commune to their participation in political positions.

She noted: "Women have been proactive on the fronts of resistance in solidarity with Arab, Syriac, Assyrian and Turkmen women, and have won victories against terrorist organizations, including Shahedat, Havrin Al-Khalaf, Saada Al-Herms, Zahra Berkel, and Nadia Khoshan, and by joining forces, Turkey has put women at risk in our regions."

Hostile forces try to dismantle components

Nesrin Al-Ali, a young woman from Manbij City said: "The people suffered from terrorist factions, especially during their occupation of cities in north and east Syria, which were later liberated by resistance to Syrian Democratic Forces fighters and People's and Women's Protection Units."

She continued: "After the liberation, AANES bodies were formed and cities proceeded through the project for a democratic nation and brotherhood of peoples. Women also organized and established themselves at all social, economic, military and political levels."

Regarding what the city of Manbij witnessed a few days before the state of chaos and strife, Nesrin said that these actions were carried out by instigators who sought to destabilize security and stability inside the city, as well as the attacks that it is exposed to from time to time by the Turkish occupier, but their plans have consciously failed by our people and their organization within the Autonomous Administration.

The citizen Fadia Rasul explained: "Regional States, primarily the Turkish State, have begun acts of sabotage in the liberated areas, directly or indirectly, i.e. by psychological or physical warfare."

She said: "the Autonomous Administration and the democratic nation project changed the status, especially the status of women, as they now express their views in all areas and decision-making positions."

Fadia concluded by saying: "We women of Manbij will never succumb to any aggression whatsoever and any attacks by hostile forces against our country."
