Murat Karayılan: If you do not want to provide help, at least do not open fronts behind us

The statements of the member of the Leadership Body of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) came during his interview with "Stêrk" T.V on Thursday evening, explaining in detail the latest situations and developments in the region, in addition to what happened in Metina area, the attacks of the Kurdistan Democratic Party Forces on Guerrilla's sites, and the tricks that the Turkish state is hatching.

How can we open another front within Metina against Peshmerga? Have Guerrilla gone mad?

About the recent incidents that took place in Metina area, Karayılan said, "At a time when we are under a massive attack, how do we open another front against the Peshmerga? How can we open another front while we are struggling on the front of existence or non-existence? We are witnessing battles in the north of Metina, how can we open another front against the Peshmerga? Have the Guerrilla gone crazy?"

Murat Karayılan said about the arrival of the Peshmerga Forces to the area, "They could have informed us of their arrival, or they could have sent 2-3 cars to the area instead of sending 100 vehicles full of weapons and ammunition. We are experiencing emergency conditions, so how do you carry out military movements behind us?"

Infighting is a disaster

Commander Murat Karayılan pointed to the Turkish state's ploys, saying, "There is a determination to fabricate battles between the Peshmerga and the Guerrilla. Our Movement did not issue any instructions to launch attacks against the Peshmerga Forces and does not even think about that. We see the Kurdish infighting at this stage as a disaster. In fact, there is a trick. We know very well at this historic stage that the Kurdish infighting poses a great danger to the future of the Kurdish people. This infighting does not serve our interest, nor the interest of the Kurdish people."

He added, "In our present day, the 21^st century, all human beings solve their differences through dialogue and discussion. Well, why do not we solve our differences through dialogue, and we want to solve them militarily? Why do we launch attacks suddenly, and into the service of whom these attacks will enter?"

The occupation army is suffering

Commander Murat Karayılan touched on the battles in the legitimate defense zones (Medya), saying, "The Turkish occupation is experiencing great difficulty in storming the areas of Metina and Zindûra Mount top, and even the areas of Zap, Avaşîn, Maran Valley, the summit of Maruanos Mount, and others. The resistance taking place in this area by the Guerrilla Forces is a source of pride for all Kurds? The young Kurdish men and women have been showing great resistance in a different way since 46 days. It is an important and exceptional matter to resist in front of this large and huge amount of advanced technology."

Murat Karayılan pointed to the decision and intervention of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in Metina area, saying, "This is an attempt to strike the resistance being witnessed in the summit of Mount Zindûra in Metina. What does it mean to close the road from behind the Kurds who are resisting in the area?"

He continued by saying, "To start a Kurdish-Kurdish war from the back, while we are being attacked by a big and savage enemy, is not right. The Kurdish heritage does not consider this a matter of courage, and the Kurdish dignity does not accept this behavior. We are under a major attack now. If you do not want to provide assistance, at least do not open fronts behind us."

He added, "I have heard and received information that Hulus Akar (Turkish Minister of Defense) urged the Kurdistan Democratic Party's commanders to involve the Peshmerga in the battle, and The Democratic Party's commanders met on May 20^th to take a decision in this regard."

Turkey is inciting PKK to open a front against PDK

 Murat Karayılan pointed out that the Turkish state sent a message to them, and added, "There is another matter that has been secret until now. I used to say that I would share it with Brother Massoud Barzani or any other leaders of the Kurdistan Democratic Party when we would meet them, but now I will share it before the Kurdish public opinion. Several months ago, the Turkish state and even Recep Tayyip Erdogan personally sent a message to us through some friends in which they called for us to declare an armistice in Turkey and Northern Kurdistan, and emphasized that they would not interfere with what we would do in other parts of Kurdistan, and in exchange for the truce, they said that they would open the way for us to fight the Kurdistan Democratic Party. This is the enemy's poly, and we must always be wary of these tricks. The Turkish state has always deceived Kurds and provoked sedition among them, and it has never triumphed except in this way. This is our enemy, and we have a history with it. Throughout history, in which period did the Turkish state fulfill the promises it made to Kurds?
