Earlier this month, Manbij city witnessed peaceful protests that were exploited by stalkers to strike the state of safety and stability in the city and create strife among its components.

On this, the Martyrs’ Families Council in the eastern region of Deir Ezzor made a statement to the public opinion, which was read by Member of the Martyrs' Families Council in Hajin town, Rakan Al-Farih.

Its text stated: "We, the martyrs' families of Deir Ezzor and its countryside, appeal to our people in north and east Syria not to be drawn into sedition and tricks at a time when we can solve all our problems on the principle of dialogue and discussion away from violence."

The council also offered "condolences to our people in Manbij who lost their sons and daughters as a result of this strife, wishing a speedy recovery for the wounded."

It strongly denounced "this criminal act, which comes within the well-known methods of the regime and its agents, and the Turkish occupation stalking the entire region."

It stressed that the city of Manbij "always remains the greatest example of co-existence among all Syrian peoples, as it sacrificed many martyrs."

The council recalled "those martyrs who sacrificed their lives for us to live with pride and dignity," and called on the people of Manbij to rally around "these great martyrs, thanks to their sacrifice, now all the peoples of northeastern Syria live a free and dignified life."

In addition, the Women's Committee in the Euphrates Council made a statement that was read by Member of the committee, Ghada Adel, in the presence of the women of the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.

The statement condemned what happened in Manbij, describing it as a "conspiracy," noting that the state of security, stability, and the people's cooperation with the Syrian Democratic Forces angered "external forces that do not want stability in the region, whether it is the Turkish occupation or ISIS terrorist cells or other parties, so it created a state of chaos."

The statement added, "We, the women of the eastern region, stand in solidarity with our people in Manbij in these difficult circumstances, and we will not allow anyone to tamper with our security, the stability of our regions, and the blood of our martyrs."
