4 deaths, 105 new infections with Covid-19 virus in N. E. Syria

On Wednesday, the Health Authority in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria announced the registration of four deaths of people infected with Covid-19 in North and East Syria.

Dr. Joan Mustafa, Co-chair of the Health Authority in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, explained that the deaths were of three women from Tabqa and a man from al-Hol camp.

Mustafa confirmed that they recorded 105 new cases of Covid-19 virus in the North and East Syria, which are 58 males and 47 females, and they are distributed as follows:

12 cases in Al-Hasakah

19 cases in Qamishlo

7 cases in Derik

4 cases in Girkê Legê

One case in Amuda

3 cases in ad-Darbasiyah

3 cases in Kobani

24 cases in Raqqa

20 cases in Tabqa

6 cases in Manbij

6 cases in Al-Hol camp

Mustafa added that they recorded two new cases of recovery.

It is noteworthy that the number of people infected with Corona virus in the regions of North and East Syria reached 18,166 with the announcement of these new cases, including 741 deaths and 1,839 cases of recovery.
