HPG thwarts Turkish occupation forces advancing upon Zandura

The media center of the People Defense Forces (HPG) said in a statement issued today that the Guerilla forces targeted the Turkish occupation soldiers while they were trying to advance in Zandoura Square in the Matina area, and forced them to retreat.

The HPGs Media Center issued a statement to the public opinion on the recent operations of the HPG forces against the Turkish occupation army.

The text of the statement stated:

The Turkish occupation forces, accompanied by one of the trained dogs, after installing a camera on its head, tried today, June 5, 2021, at exactly ten thirty in the morning, to enter some sites in Zandoura Square in the Matina area. Our forces were able to target the enemy directly, forcing them to flee.

The Turkish occupation air forces attacked several squares in the legitimate defense zones (Medya), and on the evening of June 4, the Turkish occupation helicopters switched shifts between the soldiers present in the Mam Rasho and Mervanos squares in the Avashin area.

On the same day, at 11 pm, the Turkish occupation helicopters targeted T Square in the Zab region.

The attacks did not result in any casualties among our forces.
