The past week witnessed a renewal of displacement policy and a change in the demographics of the Syrian regions by Russia, Turkey and Iran, as mercenaries and their families were transferred from the south to the occupied Syrian north, while the crisis between Turkey and America deepened due to Erdogan's attempts to use the Palestinian cause in his interests.

During the past week, Arab newspapers touched upon the Russian moves in Syria, in addition to the recent escalation in Palestine and its exploitation by Erdogan, as well as the Libyan crisis.

'Russia deports Syrian militants from the Iranian enclave to the areas occupied by Turkey'

On the Syrian issue, Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper reported that Russia continues to implement the demographic change policy in the Syrian regions in cooperation with the Turkish occupation and Iran, and in this context the newspaper said that the Russian forces sponsored the displacement of 150 armed groups from Quneitra countryside in the south of the country, which is under the Iranian influence, to areas under Turkish occupation control in the north of Syria.

It is supposed that the displacement buses will be headed to the occupied Al-Bab region in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo.

'Preparation for an international conference to pressure mercenaries and foreign forces to get out of Libya'

Al-Bayan newspaper touched on the situation in Libya and said: "Libyan political sources revealed that they are preparing to hold a new international conference on Libya in an effort to support the new authorities, make the transitional path successful, and move towards the elections scheduled for the end of this year, while the Brotherhood continues to put obstacles in front of the new head of the intelligence service, Major General Hussein Al-Aeb, by refusing to hand over the headquarters.

Reports mentioned German and Italian efforts to hold an international conference early next month to pressure for the departure of mercenaries and foreign forces from Libya.

'Erdogan's attempts to exploit the Palestinian cause deepen his crisis with the Americans'

Regarding the Turkish exploitation of the Palestinian issue, Al-Arab newspaper said: "The attempts of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to exploit the escalation in the Gaza Strip between Israel and Hamas to achieve political gains deepened his crisis with the United States."

The State Department Spokesman Ned Price said on Tuesday evening, "The United States strongly condemns the recent statements of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan regarding the Jewish people, being anti-Semitic comments."

Price added in a statement, "We urge President Erdogan and other Turkish leaders to refrain from fiery statements that could incite more violence."

The Turkish president criticized Israel for launching air strikes on the Gaza Strip, describing it as a "terrorist state" after the Israeli police fired rubber bullets and sound bombs at Palestinians who threw stones at them at Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem.

But the Turkish president attacked US President Joe Biden earlier in what appeared to be an attempt to use that issue in order to settle his scores with the United States.

Although Erdogan has succeeded in recent years to attract part of the Arabs and Muslims through the Palestinian file, this time his speech did not get the same popularity, especially since the Turkish army committed violations against civilians in a number of Arab squares, especially northern Syria and northern Iraq, which are no less hideous of the Israeli army's.

Followers also see that the statements made by Erdogan come within the framework of his attempt to induce Turkish bases, especially with the economic failure and social crisis that the country is going through.

According to observers, Biden's recent declaration on the Armenian Genocide cannot be separated from the tension between Ankara and Washington, whether it comes to the Turkish government's insistence on purchasing the S-400 missile defense system or to Turkish interventions in a number of arenas, as well as with regard to the issue of democracy and human rights.
