After more than 10 years on the Syrian crisis, the democratic experiment represented by the Autonomous Administration in NE Syria proved to be a resounding success, unlike the rest of the areas in Syria, parts of which occupied by Turkey, not to mention the presence of the Russians and Iranians in the areas controlled by Damascus government.

Politicians in the northeast regions of Syria believe that it is time to recognize the Autonomous Administration, because it will be part of the solution to the Syrian crisis.

'The solution to the Syrian crisis is not in Astana, nor in Geneva.'

On this issue, ANHA agency met with the co-chair of the Office of Diplomatic Relations of the Democratic Union Party in the Euphrates region, Bakr Haj Issa, who said, "After more than 10 years, everyone is certian that the solution to the Syrian crisis is not in Astana, nor Geneva, but in the unity of the Syrian components, and on everyone should realize that the solution is political. "

Bakr Haj Issa added: "Going without representatives of the Autonomous Administration to international forums is a catastrophic mistake that is destined for failure. This administration represents more than 5 million people in northeast of Syria, and excluding it means complicating matters."

Haj Issa pointed out that “the international coalition should further strengthen its relationship with the Autonomous Administration, because dealing with the administration on the basis of fighting ISIS is not sufficient, and the relationship must also turn into a political one in order to preserve the gains from the clearing the mercenaries of ISIS. "

He continued: "Today there is an urgent need for recognition of the Autonomous Administration by the regional countries in order for the administration to play its role in the region in keeping peace in the Middle East, because resolving the Kurdish issue in the Middle East is the most important reason for achieving peace in it, as well as other pending issues related to the region." ".

'The AANES preserved the territorial integrity of Syria'

Bakr Haj Issa pointed out that: “No one can deny the role the AANES has played in preserving the integrity of the Syrian territories, and protecting the regions of northeast Syria from ISIS terrorists and other mercenaries representing countries, foremost of which is the Turkish occupation state since what they called a revolution in Syria was not an organized revolution, and it could not preserve the unity of the people, but rather contributed to the disintegration of its components.

He continued: "After the so-called revolution, our regions were in dire need of a strong administration to protect its people, and 2014 was decisive, and the administration that everyone awaits here was announced, on the basis of the Brotherhood of Peoples project, which proved a great success unlike other regions in Syria".

Hajj Issa added: "In light of the security chaos in the region, it was necessary to form the Autonomous Administration, without which it was a disaster, especially with the emergence of terrorist groups caused a civil war in Syria, and the fire has not been extinguished to this day.

He pointed out: "Everyone used to look at the self-declared self-administration in the regions of northern and eastern Syria as wanting to separate, but the results that emerged with the implementation of the idea of brotherhood of peoples were impressive, and if such an idea had been applied in the rest of the Syrian provinces, we would not have reached where we are today."

Bakr Haj Issa, the co-chair of the diplomatic relations office of the Democratic Union Party in the Euphrates region, believes that "the success achieved by the Autonomous Administration contradicts the interests of the regional countries in the region, the Syrian regime and the terrorist groups.

Bakr Haj Issa noted that: "The most important obstacles were the siege from all sides, from the Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries, but it managed to overcome this obstacle thanks to the cohesion of its people around it."

At the end of his speech, Haj Issa called on the people of the region to rally around the Autonomous Administration, and appealed to the regional countries to recognize the Autonomous Administration, and on the politicians in their regions to take action to preserve what has been achieved with the blood of the martyrs in the areas of the administration.
