KSC: Targeting Avashin, Zab aims at exterminating Kurds

The Turkish occupation army continues its attacks on the areas of Avashin, Zab and Metîna, in the legitimate defense zones “Medya” in Başûr Kurdistan, using heavy weapons and warplanes, amid heroic resistance to the Guerrilla forces.

In the context, the KSC issued a statement saying: The Turkish army, on the orders of the fascist authority, launched a brutal military operation using chemical weapons on Saturday April 24 2021 against the forces of the Kurdistan Freedom Movement "Guerrillas".

The Coordination Committee blessed the resistance in the face of the Turkish attacks, and said: "For more than 30 years, Turkey has been attacking the mountains of Kurdistan, and these attacks are thwarted, and history bears witness to this. Just as freedom fighters thwarted Turkey's attacks on the Zab region, today the attacks that have also been thwarted mounted on the same areas. "

The Coordinator indicated that the goal of the Turkish occupation state is to eliminate the freedom movement and Kurds. The Turkish state also launched its occupation attacks on Rojava, with the aim of eliminating democracy and free life for the Kurdish people in northern Syria. "

It added, "The current occupation invasion in Southern Kurdistan targets the Kurdish freedom movement in the person of the Guerrilla forces, and our people in the four parts of Kurdistan say that this invasion does not target the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) and the   Guerrilla forces, but rather Kurdistan, and unless the occupation is ended, the Turkish state’s attacks will not stop on Kurdistan.

The Coordination Committee concluded its statement condemning these attacks, saying, "We assure the whole world that the Guerrilla are a role model for us, and they will follow in their footsteps forever."
