Turkish occupation directly interferes arresting 100 mercenaries in Serekaniye

Special sources told ANHA that about 100 persons have been arrested including the mercenary groups of the Turkish occupation army and their families, as well as civilians loyal to these groups, since yesterday afternoon, most of them have been transferred to Turkish territory.

According to the sources, the so-called "Military Discipline and Civil Police" launched the arrest campaign with the support of 50 Turkish armored vehicles and 20 pickups, some of them equipped with Dushka weapons, in the city of Serekaniye, which has been occupied since 2019.

These arrests greatly targeted the elements and loyalists to the mercenaries of the so-called "Ahrar al-Sharqiya" in the occupied city, while a number of the mercenary group members fled to their areas in the town of Suluk and the city of Girê Spi, which is also occupied by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries.

According to the same sources, the clashes erupted following mercenaries of the so-called "Ahrar al-Sharqiya" attempt to search a number of women of the so-called "Hasakah Shield"mercenarie, which includes mercenaries from Hasaka and Deir Ezzor, in the occupied city of Serekaniye, which led to disagreements and clashes over power and smuggling.

The same sources reported that, two days ago, the so-called “Ahrar Al-Sharqiya” mercenaries of the Turkish occupation army fired RBG shells at a shop of so-called “Hasakah Shield” mercenaries also affiliated with the Turkish occupation army, which led to violent clashes with heavy weapons, yesterday evening, near the old hospital in the occupied city.

As a result, the state of alert continues, and tension has escalated between the two parties, which forced the Turkish occupation to intervene supported by so-called "civil police and military discipline," who had been trained by the Turkish occupation, and launched a massive arrest campaign that affected about 100 persons from the mercenaries of the so-called "Ahrar" Al-Sharqiya ", their families, and civilians loyal to them, while other mercenaries fled to Suluk and in Girê Spi, according to the sources who also reported the arrest of so-called" Hasakah Shield "mercenaries and civilians loyal to them in connection with the same clashes.

On October 9, 2019, the Turkish occupation state launched an occupation attack with the help of its mercenaries on the cities of Serêkaniyê and Girê Spi / Tal Abyad.
