TEV-DEM blesses Çarşema Sor on Yazîdîs

This came through a statement issued by the Democratic Society Movement on Eid, and it said:

On the Red Wednesday (Çarşema Sor), the Yazîdî Kurds' New Year according to the mythology of the Yazidis, we extend our warmest congratulations and blessings to our Kurdish people in general and the Yazîdîs in particular, and all the peoples of the region.

The Çarşema Sor for the Yazîdî Kurds has great and sacred meanings especially celebrating it in April, which is the holiest months of the year and the beginning of the formation of the life and renewal of it. This in itself, means continuing with foundations and a new normal life philosophy, and as a first step to preserve the higher values ​​and morals of the human being, and later it became a law of participatory life without discrimination in the Mesopotamia region.

The essence of this Eid, represents mutual respect and acceptance on the principle of equality and justice and the core values ​​of peace and coexistence between all components of the Mesopotamia region in peace and harmony, as in Kurdistan and the case of NE Syria.

Holidays are a culture of hope because it is based on creative foundations and standards that aspire to a free life and an end to injustice. The Kurds and peoples of the region will realize their aspirations and hopes to live in dignity and free will, and our joy will be complete on this great occasion, with liberating the Leader Abdullah Ocalan.

Let us make this peaceful occasion a feast for building bridges of brotherhood between the components, and supporting the will of the Yazidi community, represented by self-administration in Şengal, within a federal Iraqi constitution, which is the most appropriate solution to limit the schemes and massacres against this people.

We, in the TEV-DEM movement, congratulate all the peoples of the region, with all their religions, beliefs and cultures, especially the Yezîdî's Kurds, and we congratulate them on this authentic historical holiday. We call on all world peace forces and all peoples of the region to join hands in accordance with the truth and principles of coexistence, brotherhood and unity of destiny.

Let us live all our religious, national holidays on the basis, principles and philosophy of the democratic nation. "
