The US State Department said in a press release today: “Secretary of State Anthony J. Blinken joins Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belgium, Sophie Wilmes, to host a hypothetical foreign ministers meeting of the Global Coalition Mini-Group to Defeat ISIS on March 30 to review ongoing efforts in the campaign aimed at an investigation the permanent defeat of ISIS. "

According to the statement, "The ministers will discuss ways to maintain pressure on ISIS remnants in Iraq and Syria and confront its networks elsewhere, including in Africa. They will also assess the priorities of coalition effort lines in terms of stabilization, foreign terrorist fighters, Anti-ISIS financing, and counter-message efforts."

The US State Department confirmed that the US-led 83-member Global Coalition, remains firm in its commitment to the permanent defeat of ISIS worldwide.
