Modelled after the open warfare of Turkish military on the region, Turkey and its mercenaries are following a special war against the peoples and components of NE Syria.

Drug trafficking is considered one of Turkey's filthiest means in its own war against the people of the region with the aim of dismantling society by targeting the young.

The drug dealing has been active recently in several regions of NE Syria, at the hands of traffickers promoting narcotic substances imported from the Turkish borders.

In addition, the Internal Security Forces continue to combat drugs, peaked in the arrest of promoters and seizing quantities of drugs each time.

In this context, the co-chair of the AOC in the Euphrates Region, Kawa Hamo, said: "Large quantities have  been taken over. We have previously organized anti-drug campaigns and to what extent we have succeeded in that."

He added, "Our goal in to fight the drugs, and according to our anti-drugs campaigns, there are quantities of heroin, hashish and narcotic needles have been seized since 2017."

Kawa added, "We have completed two stages of our campaigns. Now, there are 99 files, in addition, 179 people were arrested charged with drugs trafficking."

He pointed out drugs are smuggled to the NE Syria frrom the Turkish occupation borders, the longest borders with our regions.

Aim

In the city of Kobane, the Revolutionary Youth worked earlier on drawing wall paintings on some city walls, under the slogan "Together to fight drugs", with the aim of alerting the people and warning them of the danger of the spread of drugs.

Hamo, confirms that the aim of publishing these materials is to target the community and strike its structure, especially the youth, and the ages that are currently being targeted are between 14 and 15 years old,

He noted that after the failure of the Turkish occupation in its military incursions into the region, its own war in this way has become clear, stressing that they are ready to fight this war and thwart Turkey's goals.

He appealed to the parents' protectors, especially mothers and fathers, to pay attention to their children from diving into the focus of abuse.
