The camps that home the families of ISIS mercenaries such as "Al-Hol and Roj", make the biggest concern in NES, the Autonomous Administration of the North and East of Syria (AANES), as well as the international community, amid silence regarding their trial and fate by the International community.

The murders cases at the camp exceeded 73 cases, in which Iraqi refugees and displaced Syrians were murdered, starting with the arrival of ISIS mercenaries' families to the camp in February 2019, not to mention the "stabbing, flogging, and burning of tents" the camp is witnessing in regular daily manner.

According to the recent statistics of the Al-Hol camp administration, there are now 60,351 people in the camp, of 16,404 families, as follows:

Iraqis: 30,738 people of 8,256 families.

Syrians: 21,058 people of 5619 families.

ISIS foreign families: 8,555 children and women distributed over 2529 families.

The danger of Al-Hol camp to the region, the neighboring countries and the world lies in its detention of the most extremist families of ISIS "Syrians, Iraqis, and foreigners," who recently arrived in a camp from the Al-Baghouz area in February 2019, with the Syrian Democratic Forces starting to eliminate the last strongholds of ISIS mercenaries in the north Eastern Syria within the" campaign Jazira storm".

The sheikh of the Khawatinah clan, Basman Nayef al-Aboud, says: “Recently the frequent murders and escape has increased in Al-Hol camp, and it has been evident that ISIS and its families are re-grouping; this matter poses a great danger to the people of NES, and to the neighboring countries".

He added, "We have great concerns about this dangerous camp that houses the displaced, Iraqi refugees and thousands of families of ISIS terrorists, so there are fears on the security of our region."

In the same context, the notable of the clan, Ibrahim Muhammad Muhammad, agreed with the sheikh. He believes that the al-Hol camp, 45 km east of the city of Al-Hasakah in NES constitutes in the first degree the danger to the al-Hol region.

He expressed his concern about the camp, "We have great fears of this camp and its future, due to its closeness to Al-Hol town, and it witnesses murders on a daily basis. Many escapes to the desert. "

He added: "More than 60,000 people are in the camp, and the internal security forces (Asayiş) cannot control it. The danger increases due to the increasing spread of this extremist ideology throughout the camp".

The ISIS mercenaries' families in the camp caused great damage to the displaced Syrians and Iraqi refugees as 24 people were murdered, 11people came under murder attempts, 506 tents burning, and 700 escape attempts, during 2019, according to the camp administration’s statistics.

According to the camp administration's statistics of 2020, there have been 49 murders in the camp, and women mercenaries of ISIS foreigners, bringing the number in 2021 to 73 cases and 37 cases to February.

In light of the international countries silence about their ISIS nationals, the Sheikh of the Khawatinah, Basman Al-Hamoud, called on the SDF and the Asayiş to take more stringent security measures and carry out large-scale security operations.

He said, "It is necessary to carry out these operations in the camp, in the region."

He added, "the camp must be isolated and divided into smaller sectors to control it easily as soon as possible."

Ibrahim Muhammad Muhammad also said about the need to launch large-scale security operations to curb operations targeting displaced Syrians, Iraqi refugees, and anyone trying to get rid of the extremist ISIS ideology.

The sheikh of the Al-Khwana clan, Basman Al-Hammoud, indicated the need for the international coalition to shoulder its responsibilities, saying, "The international must play a greater role in backing the camp control."

He added, "The Syrian Democratic Forces and the security forces responsible for the camps must be provided with advanced technology to curb these operations."
