The visit that Nasr al-Hariri made to the Kurdistan region met with popular discontent in the Kurdish street, who considered that the murderers of the Kurds and those who deserted them and occupied their cities in northern and eastern Syria are in the arms of those who claim to protect the Kurds and their land.

The visit to the Kurdistan region and sitting with prominent figures had clear goals, the most important of which was to shuffle the cards and remove the Kurdish National Council, which is part of it, from the initiative that aims to reach a Kurdish political consensus in northern and eastern Syria.

Ismail Haj Farhan, a member of the Central Committee of the Kurdish Left Party in Syria, said about this visit, “There was a visit by Nasser al-Hariri, who heads the Syrian coalition to the Kurdistan region of Iraq, during which he held several meetings with his prominent personalities and politicians, and it became clear to everyone and the Kurdish people that the coalition from the beginning His work in Syria as an opposition force has become known to whom he works, where he resides, and the policy he follows.

'Terrorism attacks the Kurds in a Kurdish capital'

Haj Farhan said, "Today we see that the coalition and its aides are attacking in the harsh language of the Başûr region (Southern Kurdistan), which is part of Greater Kurdistan, against the revolution in northern and eastern Syria, which was embodied in the solidarity of its components and their unity, and its military forces represented by the Syrian Democratic Forces that took upon themselves to protect the Syrian lands from terrorism.

'Hariri should remember and compare.'

He added during his speech" who called themselves the coalition must know well, they sought to defame the Autonomous Administration and SDF, who sacrificed themselves to protect their lands, AA is the only worked hard for its people, they have to compare the regions of northern and eastern Syria with the regions they occupy and their mercenaries."

Hajj Farhan called, "Hariri, who is attacking the region, must take into his consideration the violations and crimes that they and the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries committed in the city of Afrin, and which continue to this day, and the demographic change they made in the areas they occupied from Afrin to Serekaniye/ Ras- al-Ain and the countryside of Tal Tamr."

'Receiving the enemies of the Kurds'

"We were hoping that the KRG and the rest of the Kurdish political parties would not receive these figures and sit with them at one table, as they stand in the face of the Kurdish people and try to obliterate their identity, displace them and erase their gains," he added.

The National Council is a partner who attacked the region and described its power and administration as terrorists

Hajj Farhan said, "The National Council should not deny the sacrifices of the Syrian Democratic Forces in liberating the region, and the Kurdish people should know well that the Council is part of the coalition that attacked the region's forces and peoples and accused them of terrorists."

'Silence confirms compatibility with decision, language and politics'

Stressing, "The silence of the National Council in front of Hariri's statements confirms that the Kurdish National Council is commanding the matter of the coalition, which is the council’s thought and tongue, and its decisions against the Kurdish people and their gains emanate from it."

Haj Farhan continued his speech, saying, "We all know that the coalition controls the Kurdish National Council, and Turkey controls the coalition and describes the peoples of northern and eastern Syria, their administration and their military strength as terrorists. We, the Kurds, how do we think like them, and how can we describe our people as terrorists like them, and we must not forget what mercenaries do." And the coalition in the areas they occupied and displaced their people, why does the council remain silent to this extent?

With Nasr Hariri’s visit to the Kurdistan region, there was resentment in the Kurdish street and widespread criticism about the regional government’s reception of representatives of the coalition.
