Protection Office hands over 5 new minors to their families

By a written pledge, and in accordance with the agreement between the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the United Nations, the Office of the Child Protection in Armed Conflict has handed 5 minors over to their families in the city of Al-Hasaka.

Today, the SDF handed over to the Child Protection Office in Armed Conflict 5 children; “M.A, A.M, S.KH, M.K and H.Aa ”, to be handed over to their families.

The process took place in accordance with the agreement between the SDF and the UN at the Child Protection Office in Al-Hasakah canton, in the presence of the Co-Chairs of the office, Marwa Al-Abdullah and the families of minors.

The Co-chair, Marwa Al-Abdullah, told ANHA agency, "5 minors were excluded from the military forces after verifying their age, who were minors, to be handed over to their families."

During the handover, the families of minors signed a written pledge that they had been handed over their children from the DF, through the Children Protection Office in the Armed Conflict.

It is noteworthy that the number of minors who were excluded from the military forces in Al-Hasakah office reached 44 minors.
